The SLR Engineering redLight system detects vehicles as they cross junctions after the red light has been turned on. These incidents are being recorded and stored for later use by authorities. More than 1000 incident detections (images, or short videos) can be stored onboard the SLR Smart Camera. The events can be downloaded via a LAN or wireless network connection.

redLight uses sophisticated motion tracking algorithms which work regardless of fast lighting changes or poor weather conditions, while maintaining a detection capability of almost 100%.
